During 1979 Primafil carries on its activity in Castelfranco Veneto (Tv) and the necessity to satisfy the customers, required to enlarge the range of products, for this reason the sewing thread realized with AIR JET Technology have been performed with an italian industrial patner.A little later a completly new sewing thread made by continuous polyester yarn has been registred with trade mark “Primax”.
This product take immediatly place as universal sewing thread used for all fashion production purpose.
In 1999 the Villata production site has been acquired to concentrate the complete production’s activity. The mill is on an area of 40.000 sqm., 10.000 of them are covered.
In 2000 Primafil S.r.l. became the first Company producing and selling “Nuvola”, a sewing thread 100% microfiber for soft seams. This product is the result of long research and is made by raw materials specifically produced for it.
In the same time the new “AIR JET” equipments has been placed and start to produce, completly authomatically: realizing : “Primula” poly-poly 100% microfiber universal sewing thread.
The new completly automatic winding plat has been inaugurated in 2001 and it is used for all articles.
In 2002 the twisting line has been renewed and all the Italian “RATTI” machineries have been unificated and equipped to produce the microfiber Air Jet sewing thread with 2 or 3 plies.
In the dying plant some tanks are inserted for small quantities or samples. At the moment PRIMAFIL produces and sells a large range of sewing thread for fashion that are absolutly an innovation and with a colours range of 320 items.
